It was nearly impossible to narrow down our favorites from Jessica and Tyler’s Lounsbury House wedding. This day was full of so much love, incredible light, laughter, and an abundance of joy. Dressed in Watters from RK Bridal and Tyler in a suit from Express, getting ready with these two and their crew was full of fun and emotion. Especially when Jessica put on her something old and borrowed, the very veil her Nana wore on her wedding day. Creative Concepts by Lisa brought to life Jessica and Tyler’s vision for a day that perfectly reflected their fun and relaxed demeanor. From the garden ceremony to the reception in the beautiful historic property there was no shortage of stunning flowers by Willow & Wine. The night followed by an amazing catered experience from David Alan Catering and dancing with music by DJ Spin Doctor. An unforgettable day that we feel beyond grateful to have been a part of.

Megan and Jeremy had the dreamiest day at The Waterview. Sunshine, laughter, so much love, cherry blossoms, a plethora of gorgeous flowers, and wedding details that made this day an incredible one. We loved every second of capturing their day. Here is a look back at some of our favorites (which were impossible to narrow down.) Megan and Jeremy wishing you a happily ever after!

From Michelle and Matt’s NYC engagement session, to their wedding day, and now to their newest adventure, we could not have been more honored to capture their CT maternity session. It is amazing to be part of so many momentous moments with our couples and see them grow over the years. For Michelle and Matt’s maternity photos we met them at Fort Trumbull beach and shot their entire session on film. There is nothing quite like film. It was a perfect day full of that wonderful golden light and Michelle had serious pregnancy glow and beauty. Michelle also happens to be an amazing photographer herself, (Michelle Cherie Photo) who has shot a number of weddings with us. We can’t wait to see all that comes for this sweet growing family.

Ben’s senior portraits in New Haven, CT was all about the cool factor. Before this young man continues his journey beyond high school, we spent some time walking the streets of downtown New Haven. We strolled the Yale campus, lounged on the plush leather couch at Donut Crazy and let Ben do his thing. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for Ben, he is definitely about to do some amazing things.

Kayla and Kent had a picture perfect day for their backyard wedding in Connecticut. This beautiful day was planned by Sarah Taggart of A Polished Plan at Kayla’s childhood home. The property had stunning views and was the perfect setting for the sail top tent. Floral design by Stems showcased some gorgeous greenery along with hydrangeas and other pretty white blooms from the aisle to the centerpieces and Kayla’s lovely bouquet. Kayla was a vision in her Essense of Australia gown from The Wedding Dress, veil from Bella Bridal Veils, hair comb from Pretty Baby Bridal, makeup by Get Gorgeous, and hair by Zinc Salon. Guests dined on delicious catering by Emily’s Catering and spent the night dancing under the tent with string lights and the sounds of DJ Joe Del Buono. From start to finish this was one amazing day full of love, laughter and some unforgettable moments.

We met Jennifer and Tim for their engagement photos in Trumbull CT. It was a beautiful park where we soaked in every second of the wonderful golden light. These two were beyond sweet, so much fun and we loved how they incorporated their love for music into their engagement session. There was laughter, snuggling and just being in the moment. We really love these two for that. Jennifer and Tim’s relaxed disposition was wonderful to be around. More to come soon from the big day.

You would hardly be able to tell that when we met with Megan and Jeremy for their Gouveia Vineyards engagement photos, it was October. A beautiful sunny day where the leaves had only just started to show the signs of autumn. After a stroll through the vineyards and enjoying some wine we ended the session at the Connecticut Audubon Society Coastal Center at Milford Point. Their sweet fur baby joined us and a perfect sunset ensued. We can’t wait to share their beautiful wedding day at the Waterview.
